Blade material selection

Carbide coated blades (such as P20-P30 grades): highly versatile, suitable for medium and low speed cutting of spring steel (such as 65Mn, 50CrVA), it is recommended to use TiCN+Al₂O₃ composite coating to improve wear resistance.

Metal ceramic blades: suitable for finishing, can achieve higher surface quality (Ra≤1.6μm), but the cutting depth (ap≤0.5mm) needs to be controlled to avoid chipping.

CBN blades: only suitable for high-speed cutting of hardened spring steel (HRC＞45), with higher cost but significantly improved efficiency.
